Carter Care was founded on the belief that everyone deserves to feel safe, valued, and supported in their own home. We understand that inviting someone into your home or the home of a loved one requires trust. That trust is something we honor deeply.

A Personal Message From the Owner

Hello, my name is Dana Carter, and I am the founder and owner of Carter Care.

Carter Care was created from my own life experiences and the deep understanding that caring for others requires more than skills—it requires heart. I have witnessed firsthand how overwhelming it can be for seniors, individuals with disabilities, and families to find care they can truly trust. That experience placed a calling on my life to build an agency rooted in faith, compassion, and integrity.

This agency is prayed over. Every client matters. Every caregiver matters. I believe God connects us with the people we are meant to serve, and I do not take that responsibility lightly. My promise is that Carter Care will always lead with love, honesty, and respect.

A Testimony of Purpose

Carter Care is more than a business, it is a testimony. What began as a burden on my heart became a step of faith. God opened doors, aligned the right people, and confirmed this mission through moments of provision, strength, and reassurance. Even during challenging seasons, His guidance has been constant. Through Carter Care, I have seen comfort brought into homes, peace restored to families, and dignity preserved for those who simply needed someone to care. Each client’s story reminds us that God is present in the small moment in companionship, in patience, and in service. We give Him all the glory for what this agency has become and for the lives we are blessed to touch.

Who We Serve

Carter Care proudly provides non-medical home care services to: seniors aging in place, adults with disabilities and individuals receiving services through Florida’s Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD).

Our care is person-centered, respectful, and designed to support independence, comfort, and quality of life.

Our Services

We offer supportive care services that includes: Personal Support Services, Companionship, Respite Care, Supported Living Care (SLC), when authorized and Assistance with daily living activities

All services are provided in alignment with individual care plans, family involvement, and APD guidelines when applicable.
